PETER

In 1996, Peter’s initial encounter with the Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve left an indelible mark on his spirit, a connection that has endured to this day. For more than a quarter of a century, he has maintained a profound personal and professional interest in the indigenous communities of the region. Trained as an anthropologist, his academic career at the university is strongly propelled by his profound concern for ethical and responsible tourism. An ardent enthusiast of adventure, culture, and sports, Peter is unwavering in his commitment to promoting authentic and sustainable tourism in the Cuyabeno area.

FABIAN

Fabian, who initially pursued a career in architecture, eventually chose to follow his heart’s calling for adventure tourism. He embarked on extensive travels throughout Ecuador, exploring regions like the Galapagos, the Coast, and the Andes. Upon returning from an eight-year sojourn in England, UK, Fabian resolved to embark on a unique mission: the preservation of the pristine Amazon rainforest within an uncharted sector of the Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve. This remarkable but modest project could only come to fruition through collaboration with the Kichwa Indigenous Community, the rightful stewards of this territory. Acknowledged as one of the finest guides in the Ecuadorian Amazon, Fabian dedicates his boundless energy and fervor to this endeavor.
